Act No. 93 of 1993 on occupational health and safety

In the application of this Act, the term occupational health and safety refers to the system of legal, organizational and institutional rules and their implementation aimed at ensuring safe and healthy conditions for organized work and at achieving the aims of this Act. Occupational health care includes the professional fields of work hygiene and occupational medicine.

Decree No. 5 of 1993 (26 December) by the Ministry of Labour on the implementation of certain provisions of the Act No. 93 of 1993 on occupational health and safet

The employer is obliged to ensure that in all areas under his responsibility the setup and operation of workplaces comply with this Decree, other regulations on occupational health and safety and requirements permitted by technological and scientific standards.

Decree No. 10 of 2016 (05 April) by the Ministry of National Economy on minimum safety and health requirements of work equipment and its use

This Decree is applicable to the use of work equipment as defined in Article 87 (4) of the Act No. 93 of 1993 on occupational health and safety during organized work in accordance with Article 87 (9) of the Act No. 93 of 1993 on occupational health and safety.

Decree No. 16 of 2008 (30 July) by the Ministry of National Development and Economy on safety requirements and certification of compliance of machines

Act No. 25 of 2000 on chemical safety

Act No. 31 of 1996 on fire safety, technical rescue and the fire service

The Parliament creates the following Act to fulfil duties originating from the Fundamental Law and international agreements, prevent fire incidents threatening life and property security and to regulate assistance in case of fire or technical rescue, rights and obligations of those participating in the defence against fire and the conditions of defence in terms of organizational and management system, human resources, physical means and finances.

Decree No. 30 of 1996 (06 December) by the Ministry of Interior on preparing fires safety rules

Act No. 53 of 1995 on the general rules of environmental protection

The objective of the Act is to develop a harmonious relationship between humans and their environment, to protect the wholeness, components and processes of the environment and to provide for the environmental conditions of sustainable development.

Act No. 89 of 2003 on environmental load fees

In accordance with Article 60 of the Act No. 53 of 1995 on the general rules of environmental protection, the objective of the Act is to facilitate the reduction of material or energy emission into the environment, the use of the most efficient solutions in the interest of environmental and natural protection and a proportional burden-sharing between the state and the users of the environment.

Government Decree No. 314 of 2005 (25 December) on the process of environmental impact assessment and integrated environmental permit

The Decree is applicable to the defined activities and facilities and their significant changes.

Act No. 185 of 2012 on waste

To protect the environment and human health, reduce impact on environment, spare natural resources, reduce the impact of and improve the effectiveness of the consumption of resources, prevent waste production and the harmful effects of the waste generated, decrease the quantity and hazardous nature of the waste generated, recycle used products, keep the materials present in the consumption chain in the production-consumption circle, maximise waste recovery and  dispose of non-reusable and non-recyclable waste in an environment-friendly way.

Government Decree No. 306 of 2010 (23 December) on the protection of air

The Decree is applicable to those private and legal entities and organizations without legal entity whose activities, facilities or products pollute or may pollute the air.

Act No. 85 of 2011 on environmental product charge

The Act is applicable to the goods under product charge and to activities related to goods under product charge.
